This is the very first Dave's Picks and features what many consider to be one of the greatest shows the Grateful Dead ever performed. This also happens to be the day Star Wars A New Hope (the first Star Wars film ever released) opened in theaters across the U.

Not only is this a rare (maybe the most rare) and hard to find Dave's Picks; but an unnumbered edition is even rarer as only a handful were made when Dave's Picks Vol. 1 was released, to have on hand in case of damaged or lost orders. It is NOT a "rerelease" or bootleg. The unnumbered editions were produced/packaged at the same time as the numbered ones. I'm including a Star Wars and a Steal Your Face sticker (see last few photos) in honor of the convergence of epic occurrences on this day!
